Can’t believe that summer is already here! Even more than that, half of the year is history. I hope at this stage of the game, your New Year’s resolutions have started to come to fruition and you’ve made that decision to commit to your health and fitness. Kudos to you if you’ve done that and paid it forward to help others.
After spending five years on Active Duty and three years in the Army National Guard, I finally resigned my commission as an officer. It was a difficult decision for me, but ultimately my passion and commitment for helping ordinary people lead healthy and fulfilling lives was the main factor in my decision. Since then, I’ve spent more time bringing more people to the team that are committing to pay it forward. We saw record growth for the month and had many Challenge Groups running on Facebook. In fact, one girl named Alisa who is on a journey to combat obesity that stemmed from an early childhood lost over 50 pounds and continues to build her success story today.So May was definitely an important month for me.
While May had many things to celebrate, June stole the show. Myself and Coach Alex spent a day in Boca getting our INSANITY Certification and just received the official notification that we passed our exam. Later in the month, we had nine coaches from Unbreakable Fitness attend the annual Team Beachbody Coach Summit in Las Vegas.
Together, we participated in the Superworkout with over 6,000+ coaches from across the US and Canada. We rubbed elbows with Tony Horton, Sagi “Body Beast” Kalev, and Mr. Shaun T. I emailed several of you a few weeks back about the exciting news: WE HAVE VANILLA SHAKEOLOGY! The journey it took to get there was four years in the making, but you really should checkout the story on how that came to fruition. Beachbody also announced Shaun T’s newest workout: Focus T25.
We had an opportunity to demo one of the workouts and anyone on the team will tell you that it is the most genius workout ever put together. 11 workouts, 25 minutes per workout, 5 days a week, for 50 days. The test group results were INCREDIBLE. The workout we did was intense and challenging, but every move has a modification so you can make it as easy or as challenging as you want.
