It’s hard to believe that summer is just about over. Hopefully you didn’t overindulge at your family BBQs over these past two months. Now that the kids are back in school, it’s a great opportunity for you to get back into your normal fitness routine. This is the time of year where people are more likely to lose sight of their health and fitness because of all the new found free time. Here is an update of what Unbreakable Fitness was up to over the summer.
In July, Team Beachbody had a Challenge for all of its coaches to see who would be number one at helping the most people commit to healthy eating and exercise. We put together a five person team with myself as captain. I’m proud to say that out of 2,400 teams competing in the competition, our team placed 160! Together, we were able to help 20 people commit to a fitness lifestyle change for the better AND 12 of those 20 were inspired by our cause that they decided to join our Unbreakable Fitness team. I’ve very proud of Mina, Brianna, Andrea, and Danielle for really stepping outside of their comfort zones and making our team a great success.
Unbreakable Fitness also had a Focus T25 Challenge Group running July in a private Facebook Group with five people who decided to take the Beachbody Challenge and get their fitness to a high level. The group was extremely active and some people displayed very impressive results, but at the end of the day, Julie H. secured a victory with her accountability points. For her efforts, she received a $50 Team Beachbody Gift Card. Who says getting healthy and fit doesn’t pay off? If you’d like to be rewarded for your effort, take the Beachbody Challenge today and share your results with Unbreakable Fitness. We may even reach out to you and ask your permission to share those results on our testimonial wall.
In August, as part of it’s annual donation, Unbreakable Fitness in Miami, FL took 10% of it’s monthly proceeds and donated it to Disabled Sports USA. This company specializes in helping Wounded Warriors and children with disabilities participate in competitive sport activities. It’s truly amazing to see how these athletes really take their fitness seriously despite having what most would refer to as debilitating conditions. I’m proud to say we were able to donate more this year than last, and we hope that this trend continues every year.
Unbreakable Fitness also launched its first live meetup group in Miami, FL on August 31st. In an attempt to spread the good word of health and fitness, the team will be holding free live workouts in Miami to increase awareness of the benefits of daily exercise and healthy eating. We had 20 RSVPs for our first event and we hope that future events will increase in number as the year continues. If you are local to the Miami area and have a venue where you would like us to hold a free workout, please contact me directly and maybe we can come to YOU. You can check out future meetups at our Meetup Website.
Thanks for being a great support for our team and we look forward to making the next two months great!
